New Field boots

I just got new field boots, any tips for breaking them in and caring for them? Whats the best oil/conditioner, best polish etc.

Permalink Reply by Emily Roy on December 27, 2007 at 8:47am: mink oil waterproofs them, but supposedly they make them not as shiny..... not that theyre dull afterwards but they arnt SUPER shiny lol..... i used it on my tall boots, and im not regretting my decision or nething.....

oh and i LOVE using leather CPR on my boots, though they made my friend's tall boots have like a bit of white stuff on them....... theyve never done it to mine though so idn if she just didnt rub them in enough or what......; ▶ Reply to This

Tall boots are the riding boots that english riders use. lol. why would we be polishing our water boots? but for breaking them in I'd sleep in them. I did that and I wore them to school too, try doing gym class in tall boots and explaining to everyone why they're appropiate shoes for gym; ▶ Reply to This
