worst horse accident?
well mine was pretty bad. i was riding my mare and i was on the lunge line with
my trainer, then all of a sudden, my horse got scared of the lunge whip that my trainer
was holding, and she didnt want to go forward, so highlight(my horse) reared up unexpectantly, fell backwards directly onto me. She quickly got up not knowing whats going on. I got up right away but went to the emergency room. sursprisingly nothing was broken except excrusiating physio therapy on my arm (couldnt straighten it) my horse got hurt in the accident, still investigating. she is lame on her right hind. Can anyone beat that accident?

Wow thats pretty bad!!! I'm glad your ok and I hope your horse turns out ok to! My falls/accidents havent turned out that bad...but if there was a contest of who has gotten the dirtiest when falling off I would win that one...One time a horse took off on me in a muddy arena (long story why) and I fell flat on my face in the mud...another time I did about 2 flips/forward rolls in the air when I fell off cantering one of my first times and I was covered in wet grit.....(again long story) Another time my horse was afriad of a ditch/ stream on a trail ride so my instructer suggested "why dont you get off and walk her over it" I did and she must have launched up at least 3ft in the air and nocked me over in the muddy wet snow, and I was right underneath her she sprawled her legs out realizing I was underher and until I got out from under her she didn't move a muscle making sure she didn't step on me..But my accidents definatly dont beat yours!

yours seem very..well..dirty! lol. yah mine was pretty bad. shows what horses can do. and it was so unexpected because highlight is a really good horse, just a bit marish. lol. but at least ive gone through this experience. know i know what to expect when it happens :p
